Tension Insulator, 3 kV DC

Tension and suspension insulators with alternating shed profiles for improved electrical performance. Units are designed and tested in accordance to EN 50124, IEC 62621 and IEC 61109. They are available in a range of end fitting configurations.


  • Tension insulator


  • Housing: Injection Moulded HTV Silicone with ATH Filler (Grey RAL 7015, min. 3mm thickness)
  • Composite Core: Pultruded ECR-Glass Fibre and Epoxy Resin (rod diameter 19mm)
  • End Fittings: Steel - Hot Dip Galvanized in according to ISO 1461 (min. average thickness 85μm)
