Extrusion-moulded, longitudinally sealed. For stranded circular aluminium cables that are DIN 48021 compliant and stranded circular, stranded sector-shaped, solid circular and solid sector-shaped aluminium conductors that are DIN VDE 0295 compliant.
Stranded and solid sector-shaped conductors must be rounded with round-forming dies. Solid circular and solid sector-shaped aluminium conductors can only be compressed with mechanical crimping pliers. Al compression cable lugs are supplied prefilled with compression compound and packed in heat-sealed plastic bags. To install bare aluminium compression cable lugs it is important to wire-brush the grooved bottom surface of the plate before connection.
