Outdoor Termination ESS72-C23, 72.5 kV, silicone, oil-insulated
The self-supporting, oil-insulated terminations of the ESS family can be used at voltage levels up to 550 kV. In order to reach the requirements for particularly challenging applications and environmental conditions a selection of different creepage distances is available. Furthermore, the use of composite materials results in outstanding mechanical properties while the silicone used for the sheds and the coating of the insulator achieves exceptional pollution properties. In addition, the well-known interaction of the insulating oil and the stress control element made of silicone ensures high quality. In combination with the easy-to-install and system-sealing head fitting a maintenance-free operation over the service life is given.
